Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Bubba Chandler

Pirates’ minor league affiliates enjoyed a four game sweep on Friday, with Bubba Chandler turning in his best game of the season—if not the best of his career—for the Altoona Curve.

Triple-A Indianapolis defeated the Iowa Cubs 5-2, with a two-run double from Joey Bart highlighting a five-run inning that powered them to victory.

Chandler allowed just two hits in seven innings for the Curve, striking out ten batters on the way to a 5-0 win over the Bowie Baysox.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers boat raced the Hudson Valley Renegades 10-3, with a Shawn Ross grand slam and a solo shot from Termarr Johnson among the highlights.

The Bradenton Marauders walked off the Lakeland Flying Tigers 8-7 in ten innings, with Tyler Kennedy stranding the Manfred Man in the tenth inning to set the table for the game-winning single from Javier Rivas.
