Pirates’ minor league affiliates put the ice on an imperfect weekend, dropping each of the three games they played for the third day in a row.

Triple-A Indianapolis lost 8-5 to the Omaha Storm Chasers despite Matt Gorski’s tenth home run in the past 18 games.

The Altoona Curve managed nothing but singles in their 10-4 loss to the Portland Sea Dogs. Errors came back to haunt the Curve, as Sean Sullivan got tagged for five runs—only two earned—in 3.1 innings.

Bradenton struggled even worse at the plate, managing just three hits in their 2-1 loss to Fort Myers. The Marauders’ offense woke up with two outs in the ninth, notching an RBI double, but they couldn’t come up with another hit to send the game to extras.

High-A Greensboro saw their matchup with the Asheville Tourists canceled due to rain.
