On Tuesday, July 12th, your Pittsburgh Pirates (37-50) play game two of four against the Miami Marlins (41-44). Starting game two for the Pirates will be Chris Stratton (5-4, 4.14 ERA). Daniel Castano (1-2, 3.60 ERA) will go for the Marlins. First pitch in Miami is set for 6:40 p.m.

UPDATE (11:52 a.m.) University of Kentucky basketball head coach, John Calipari received a surprise when he walked into his office Monday. Apparently he received a signed bat a photo from his favorite baseball player Dave Parker.

UPDATE (11:18 a.m.) 7 years ago today, the Pirates beat the Cardinals in back to back nights with walk-offs. Andrew McCutchen hit a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the 14th and Gregory Polanco hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th.

UPDATE (10:53 a.m.) The Pirates have promoted 2021 draft pick Bubba Chandler. In the FCL, Chandler has posted a 0.00 ERA in 15.1 innings pitched and has a batting average of .231 with 9 RBIs, 3 homers, and an OPS of 1.098.
