PBN Around the Horn: Pirates & Tigers Set to Play Two Today in Detroit

Since the Pittsburgh Pirates (9-13) and the Detroit Tigers (7-14) game was canceled on Tuesday, we will have a doubleheader for Wednesday. Set to start game one for the Pirates will be Dillon Peters (3-0, 0.00 ERA), and he will face Michael Pineda (1-1, 3.60 ERA). Game one will start at 1:10 p.m. at Comerica Park.

Game two will feature Jose Quintana (0-1, 3.32 ERA) for the Pirates. Quintana’s mound opponent will be Alex Faedo (MLB Debut). Game time is set for 4:40 p.m.

UPDATE (12:51 p.m.) Moments before game one begins, the Pirates and Tigers game has seen a shift in the O/U. As it stands the Pirates are still +135 underdogs and the O/U is now 8 runs even.

UPDATE (11:17 a.m.) Recently optioned Aaron Fletcher will serve as the Pirates’ 27th man during today’s doubleheader.

UPDATE (11:07 p.m.) We have a money line and an O/U for game two between the Pirates and Tigers. The Pirates open up as +114 underdogs with an O/U of 7.5 runs.

UPDATE (10:59 a.m.) The Pirates lineup for game one.
