In the movies or television, you know, you see a prisoner mark the walls with tally marks to signify the number of days has passed? Well, I got a feeling we will be having a lot of tally marks on our own walls with the MLB lockout official. Tension has been bubbling like a witch’s cauldron on October 31st.
If baseball can be fixed somewhat and create a more steady and even playing field, consider this writer and fan a happy one. Will they fix everything or most things? Probably not, but a lot of fans will look to the players union to hold firm and stand their ground. If I were a betting man, I’d get your chalk ready and maybe buy a harmonica; it’s going to be a long one.
