PBN Around the Horn: Doubleheaders Galore! Pirates & Reds Play Two

Saturday, May 7th, your Pittsburgh Pirates (10-14) will play a doubleheader with the Cincinnati Reds (3-22). Starting game one for the Pirates will be JT Brubaker (0-2, 6.20 ERA). Brubaker’s opponent will be old friend Connor Overton (0-0, 1.69 ERA). Game one at Great America Ball Park is set for 12:35 p.m.

Game two’s probable starters will be Mitch Keller (0-4, 5.32 ERA) for the Pirates, and his mound opponent is Dauri Moreta for the Reds (0-0, 5.11 ERA). Game two is set for 6:35 p.m.

UPDATE (5:11 p.m.) The Reds have announced that Dauri Moreta will be their starter for game two. Moreta is 0-0 with a 5.11 ERA.

UPDATE (4:25 p.m.) The Pirates starting lineup for game two. Also, don’t forget the game will be televised on AT&T PITT2 channel.

UPDATE (3:54 p.m.) The Reds starting pitcher for game two has now been moved to TBD.

UPDATE (11:10 a.m.) Ke’Bryan Hayes has hit the ball hard this season. Hayes has hit the ball so hard, that he finds himself in the top 10 for an average exit velocity of 93 mph.

 

UPDATE (10:37 a.m.) Pirates’ pitcher, Mitch Keller finds himself ranked 7th in lowest exit velocity against.
