After a disappointing Chicago Road trip, the Pittsburgh Pirates (48-89) head home to face the Detroit Tigers (65-73). The Pirates will send out Bryse Wilson (4.61 ERA) to face Tarik Skubal (4.26 ERA). The first pitch is set for 1:35 p.m.

UPDATE (11:07 a.m.)- Pirates prospect Nick Gonzales hit yet another homer Sunday night in what is the Greensboro Grasshoppers final regualr season home game. Gonzales went 2-4 with a homer and an RBI double.

UPDATE (11:05 a.m.)- Pirates prospect O’Neil Cruz blasted a 461 foot homer in Altoona’s 7-2 victory.

UPDATE (10:59 a.m.)- The money line has moved slightly in favor of the Tigers again. The Pirates are now +125 underdogs. O/U remains at 8.5 and if I was a betting man I’d go with the over.
UPDATE (10:51 a.m.)- The 2022 MLB Draft had a significant shakeup Sunday afternoon. Both the Baltimore Orioles and the Texas Rangers won, unfortunately the Diamondbacks lost. The standings now have the Pirates in the top three. The Pirates find themselves 4.0 games back of the Orioles, and 3.5 back on the Diamondbacks.
