Baseball is finally here! Your Pittsburgh Pirates open up the season against the St. Louis Cardinals. Set to start the season off for your Pirates is JT Brubaker, and he will square off against the wily veteran Adam Wainwright. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is set for 4 p.m. Eastern.

UPDATE (11:22 a.m.) Andrew McCutchen will be batting cleanup for the Brewers today and will serve as the DH.

UPDATE (9:55 a.m.)- Jake Marisnick’s deal with the Pirates is a one-year Major League deal for $1.3M, per USA Today. Andrew Knapp gets $800K on his one-year deal, according to DKPittsburghSports.

Outfielder Jake Marisnick will earn $1.3 million on his new major league contract with the #Pirates. He’s on the opening day roster.
