MLB Unveils Pirates Updated Spring Training Schedule

Published

on

Major League Baseball released the revised spring training schedules of all 30 teams on Friday. The spring training schedule was changed after the new CBA was agreed to earlier this week. The new schedule has been made so that teams will have limited travel.

In total the Pirates will play 18 games, the first of which will be on March 18 against the New York Yankees at LECOM Park. That game is the first of 10 consecutive games to begin the spring, before the first off day on March 28. The Bucs final spring training game comes against the Phillies in Clearwater.

In addition to the Yankees and Phillies, the Pirates are also schedule to play games against the Tigers, Blue Jays, Rays, Orioles, Twins and Red Sox.

The schedules of all 30-teams, including the Pirates can be found below.
