Fire Away! Fielding Questions for Weekly Pirates Q&A

Don’t look know, but the Pittsburgh Pirates are getting hot!
Ok, maybe that’s a bit rash, but the Pirates are going for their first series sweep when they face the Los Angeles Angels tonight.
For the first time all season, the offense is starting to show some life. After recording a season-high 18 hits and nine runs in a win on Tuesday, the Pirates had 11 hits in a 3-0 win on Wednesday in Anaheim.
As has been the case for much of the season, the Pirates have received strong work from their pitching. In their shutout win on Wednesday, Andrew Heaney allowed just one baserunner and struck out nine batters in 6.0 innings pitched.
There’s a lot going on. The Bucs are playing their best baseball of the season (in a small sample). David Bednar is back. Spencer Horwitz is getting close to starting a rehab assignment. There are several prospects off to fast starts.
