How quickly things can change for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
This time last week, the Pirates had a day off in Seattle after completing a perfect 6-0 homestand in which they outscored the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals 43-4.
Now, the Pirates are losers of six in a row to start one last lengthy road trip before the All-Star Break. Brutal.
Pittsburgh will be sure sellers at the trade deadline three weeks from now. Plus the draft is only three days away. There’s a lot going on at 115 Federal St. in the North Shore.
