Fire Away! Fielding Questions for Weekly PBN+ Pirates Q&A

The Pittsburgh Pirates just complete perhaps their best homestand in franchise history.

The Pirates swept the New York Mets while outscoring them 30-4, then shutout the St. Louis Cardinals in three straight games to go a perfect 6-0 against two contending teams.

The Pirates have a day off on Thursday before starting a nine-game road trip leading up to the All-Star break. Despite a season-high six-game winning streak, the Pirates are still 38-50, in last place in the National League Central and nine games out of a Wild Card spot.

Additionally, day one of the MLB draft is only 10 days away, while trade buzz continues to build ahead of the deadline on July 31.
