The Pittsburgh Pirates have a day off on Thursday and will start their final homestand before the All-Star break on Friday night against the New York Mets.

The Pirates just crossed the halfway point of the season and look destined to finished last in the National League Central with their current 32-50 record.

There are some key dates quickly approaching with the MLB Draft 17 days away and the trade deadline just over a month out.
