Fire Away! Fielding Questions for Weekly PBN+ Pirates Q&A

Oneil Cruz, Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates will be back on the field on Friday night when they face the Chicago White Sox at PNC Park.

A lot has happened since the Pirates entered the All-Star break. They made 21 selections in the draft, headlined by first-round right-hander Seth Hernandez.

Oneil Cruz participated in the home run derby and put on a show. Paul Skenes started for the National League in their win in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Then on Wednesday, they made the first of what’s expected to be a flurry of trades over the next two weeks. The Bucs dealt Adam Frazier to the Kansas City Royals for minor league infielder Cam Devanney.

65 more games on the schedule, and a very busy month of July will continue. Have a question about any of it? Now’s your chance to ask!

On Monday, Pittsburgh Baseball Now will be releasing our weekly Pirates Q&A for our PBN+ subscribers.
