A baseball source has confirmed to Pittsburgh Baseball Now that Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Bryan Reynolds has requested a trade.

No details have been given as to why the 27-year-old Reynolds has requested a trade, but one can assume it has to deal with the lack of winning.

From having dealt with Reynolds in the Pirates locker room, you could tell he was one of the leaders of this bunch and had garnered the respect of the coaches and players alike.
