2021 Pittsburgh Pirates Make Team History

Yesterdays game against the Dodgers was somewhat historic for the Pirates. Never in the near century and a half of existence have they used 56 players in a season. Monday night Yosi Tsutsugo became the 56th player used for the Pirates in 2021. Mind you; this is August; the season still has over a month left of baseball to go. With September call-ups being different this year, I’m sure the number won’t rise exponentially, but it will still rise in September.

Just to have some fun, let’s list every name, and for even more fun, we will do it in alphabetical order.
